Congratulations to our very own Larisa Tarasova! She was recognized by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum for her piece submitted to their 4th Annual Art Contest and was selected by their judges as the 1st place in the 6-8 grade division! Her art was one of 18 pieces selected from 500 entries and deemed to best embody the theme of “Happy Birthday Illinois.”
Larisa's art piece will be unveiled at the museum on Monday, February 12, 2018 and will be on display throughout the year. The museum is located at 112 N. Sixth Street in Springfield, IL.
