Board of Education Vacancy

Carthage ESD #317 has an open position on the Board of Education to fill an unexpired term from the April 2025 consolidated election.

The Board is seeking interested community members who would like to serve the district in this role. The appointed individual would serve until the next scheduled school board election.

Applicants must be residents of Carthage ESD #317.

Individuals interested in being considered should contact the Superintendent to express interest no later than March 17, 2026. Interviews for the vacancy will be held on March 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Carthage ESD #317 Business Office, 210 S. Adams Street, Carthage, IL 62321.
