Carthage Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th/6th Grade Boys Basketball Coach for the upcoming season. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing student-athletes, teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and fundamental basketball skills in alignment with the mission of Carthage Elementary School District #317.

Carthage E.S.D. #317 is seeking a compassionate and qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning November 3rd. This full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week) begins in the fall of 2025 and offers a starting salary of approximately $39,466. Additionally, the district contributes 9.8901% of the salary to the Illinois Teacher’s Retirement System (TRS) on your behalf.

This position is benefit-eligible, including:

  • Health insurance with a district contribution of $860 per month

  • 14 sick days and at least 2 personal days per year

  • Other benefits as outlined in the Certified Staff Contract
