Flyer from Common Sense Media promoting the Family and Community Engagement FACE program. The flyer shows a caregiver and child using a laptop together and explains that schools can join the free FACE program to access family tech resources, parent webinars, professional development, and community support to help families build healthy digital habits.

At Carthage Elementary School District #317, we are always looking for ways to support families as technology becomes a bigger part of learning and everyday life. One resource we love is Common Sense Media’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) program.

FACE helps schools share simple, helpful information with parents and caregivers about healthy technology use. The program provides easy family resources, parent webinars, and professional learning that schools can pass along directly to families. Schools also have opportunities to connect with other educators and family advocates to share ideas and support.

The best part is that the program is free. Members complete a few short surveys during the year so Common Sense Media can continue improving the resources for families.

If you are interested in learning more or signing up, visit commonsense.org/face. We are excited to continue sharing tools that help our students succeed both in school and in their digital lives.
